# Roadmap

The roadmap is not a marketing document — it is the working issue tracker, in public:

**[github.com/api-evangelist/roadmap](https://github.com/api-evangelist/roadmap/issues)**

Every item is a real, specific problem with the evidence that found it. Issues are labelled by
area — `area:scoring`, `area:catalog`, `area:tooling`, `area:apis-io`, `area:research` — so you
can watch the part you depend on.

## What that means for you

- **If you consume the API**, `area:tooling` and `area:apis-io` are where contract-affecting work
lands. Anything breaking is announced under the [deprecation policy](/deprecation) before it
ships, and recorded in the [changelog](/changelog) when it does.
- **If you are scored** by the [Kin Score](https://apis.io/rating/), `area:scoring` is the rubric's
open questions — including the ones where the rubric is currently wrong. Those are filed against
ourselves in the same tracker as everything else.
- **If you found the problem**, file it there. An issue with a reproduction is worth more than a
  feature request.

## How to read it

There are no dates on the issues, because there is no team behind them to hold a date. The
tracker is ordered by what is blocking something else. If timing on a specific item matters to
you, ask — **info@apievangelist.com** — and you will get an honest answer rather than a quarter.
