Overview
This is the developer front door to the API Evangelist network — sixteen years of API research served as one API and one MCP server: 5,100+ stories, 77 focused topic areas, 2,400+ governance building blocks (guidance, rules, policies, standards, strategies, schema, properties, experiences, lifecycle), white papers, conversations, videos, tools, research timelines, services, and the API vocabulary — plus the legacy static JSON feeds that predate the API.
Three ways in
| Surface | Where | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| REST API | https://api.apievangelist.com/v1 — API Reference | Search, browse, and integrate any resource type |
| MCP server | https://mcp.apievangelist.com/mcp — MCP Server | AI agents; start with get_overview and guide_topic |
| Static feeds | Static Feeds | Zero-auth JSON files, one per collection — no key, no limits |

Looking for API providers?
The API provider catalog (thousands of companies and their APIs) intentionally lives on APIs.io — this API covers API Evangelist's own research network and does not duplicate it.
